Chakras by Candlelight

Type of Event: Mantras, Chanting, Meditation, and Breathing Instruction.

Event Description: Open your chakras through meditation and chanting in the Hindu tradition! The Chakras are the major energy centers within our bodies. When they are activated, we are able to receive goodness from many areas and experience a more heart-centered life. The joyful chant “Ong So Hung” will be taught along with an empowering centering technique that helps us mange everyday stress. You will learn how to set an intention through focused prayer. All faiths welcome!  The Chakra Dhyana is a chanting and visualization technique that awakens, energizes, and balances the chakras. Water is provided, as well as bean bags and regular chair seating. Dress comfortably as we open with joyful dancing to a couple of modern tunes. The class ends with a Blessing for those who would like Deeksha at the conclusion of the program. Bring prayer lists for Charlene to bless if you feel so moved.

For your comfort, water is provided, a yoga mat, a bean bag chair, and regular chair seating. You will need to recline on the floor in Shavasan for at least 15 minutes after your blessing. Please wear comfortable clothing.

A free e-book called “Relax, Affirm and Awaken!” will be provided to all attendees. This book will summarize some of the spiritual terms used in the workshop.
